HI,
I have a Smart-UPS 1500RM (one of 200) which I can't ge the output to turn on, its in a remote location I've tried to turn on via the NMC on had staff at the location try manually to turn it on.
It attempts to turn on lights flash and then go off and the output is still off. I'm hoping that someone may have an answer, I've attached the config, data and event files.
Thanks,
Phil

Thanks Battman,
After I sent the request I kicked myself remembering that I hadn't tried to brain dead the UPS. Anyway I've requested the local user to try it. I'll get back to you when they have had a go.
Phil

Looking at the data logs everything looks ok from an input power/frequency and battery voltage/charging perspective...you might next want to try braindeading the UPS to try and clear any operational glitch in its processor that is preventing startup. Have your local person unplug the UPS, then disconnect the battery, then press and hold the power on button for quite awhile - like 30 or 40 seconds - to discharge the internal capacitors as much as you can. Then , reconnect the battery , plug the ups back into the wall and see if it will power on.
