Smart UPS 1000 will not hold any charge

Hi

We have a Smart UPS 1000 but it does not appear to hold any charge when switched off. If I leave it on for 24 hours say, then the battery lights are full. But as soon as i turn off the power, the battery kicks in but the charge goes down to only 1 light. Then after a short while it goes off all together. I have just recently changed the battery as the old one was doing the same.

Any ideas?

Are you also using the PCBE software? If so, can you check what the estimated load and runtime are?
