Ok, I had to change the UPS's to two new IP addresses (2 UPS's in dual mngt mode). I have made the appropiate DNS change but comm's still can not be established to them under the new IP. I installed a raw instance on a new server, pointed to the UPS's on the two new UIP's and all is good. BUT... When I copy the M11.cfg file over to the same directory in another server and restart service, I can't get it to see the network managment cards. I found one article about copying that file to lib directory and running some obsxcene java command, which doesn't work (has anyone outside of a developer EVER gotten a JAVA command to run properly ???).
So short of a uninstall, reboot, install, is there no other simpler way to update the configuration?

Hi Poomba,
Are you referring to the PowerChute Network Shutdown Configuration Utility which can be found on this kbase -- [Launching the PowerChute Network Shutdown Configuration Utility for version 2.X|http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/651/kw/pcns%20config%20utility%3F]? I usually would try both commands to get it working. Sometimes I would open up a command window and navigate to the directory where the Java Applets can be found and launch it from there. Also, I make sure that the PCNS service is stopped before launching the utility and prior to copying the m11.cfg.
If you do have the PCNS 3.0, it would be easier by using the Config Wizard.
