Hello everyone,
I experience problem of changing "force negotiation" option in PowerChute configuration of APC SURT5000 UPS.
Using web interface on AP9630 card, changing option to "force negotiation" returns me on default value of 2minutes. What to do to change this parameter?
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Hi,
thanks for your response.
I checked "configure events" page and there is a command file and execution delay configured for "on battery event".
Beside that we also configured shutdown behavior, with another command file and required delay.
However, UPS didn't yet changed option to force negotiation.
Maybe it needs a little more time.
Cheers

it is only the shutdown command file delay that applies here, under the configure shutdown option on the left hand side.
if nothing is configured, there will be no additional time added on. you should plan your other events configured to trigger a shutdown accordingly as well as your low battery time to a lot enough time for shutdown.
the delay you have set under configure events and an on battery event command file does not apply to the force negotiation.
