Setup Shutdown Rules for Powerchute Business Edition
Hi support,
Good day. I've purchased a new APC Smart UPS 2200VA and configured it with vMA to monitor my ESXi host. Everything works fine for now, I can browse to my PBEagent installed in my vMA and communication to my UPSis established correctly.
But now the problem is, I wish to configure the shutdown rules in Powerchute Agent Web Interface to perform a graceful shutdown to my VMs, followed by my ESXi hosts. I'm a newbie in setting up UPS monitoring and hopefully your side can provide some guidance in setting up this.
I've a following setup for my ESXi:
1) ESXi host 1: 192.168.88.101 with some VMs
ESXi host 2: 192.168.88.102 with some VMS
ESXi host 3: 192.168.88.103 with some VMs
2) vMA installed under 192.168.88.101 with PBE Agent installed.
I wish to do something like once there is power outage detected, all the VMs will shutdown gracefully and followed by shutting down ESXi hosts. Is there any guidance for this?
