Server install problem

Attempted to install Business server 6 (agent loaded fine) and installation hung-up on "Creating Server Service" on a Win 2003 server. Attempted to reinstall to no avail. Attempted to uninstall via add/remove programs through control panel and an error message of not being able to find a file and it terminated. Downloaded 7.0.5 and attempted installation, again hung on Creating Server Service but timed out with Failed to start APC PBE server service and returns back to product installation which shows server is installed but connect access any services. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...
