SYMSTRF 1 (singlephase) no start-up / DEAD SET

Hi forum.

We are having problems with a Symmetra Power Array Model SYMSTRF 1 (single phase model). After a period of non-operation we change all the batteries of

the unit and when we powered it up there was no Output from the UPS (no load present on the unit), no light indications present (no leds working on MIM nor RIM), screen or fans. No clicking/cycling sounds either. The whole unit is not powering up. DEAD SET.

I searched every manual i could find but the problem still remains. System enable switch is working / source input supply is ok

Please advice.

PS: I came across this conv. but the steps mentioned there didnt help me out and no final solution was mentioned.

There is no display when i remove the MIM / RIM and flip up the system enable switch.

I suspect the problem exists in the power supply of the auxiliary/secondary circuit (fans, display etc) on the RIM, MIM boards after a long period of non operation. That is way the drawings would be useful.

These older UPS should show signs of life as soon as the system enable switch on the rear is set to up and the input circuit breaker on the UPS is closed.  Even if the AC is not good, the batts being installed should be enough to at least get something assuming they are at a proper voltage.  What is the battery voltage?  These UPS use a 120 VDC nominal voltage but will float higher - around 137 VDC.

Do you get absolutely nothing on the screen or the intel modules?  How about if you close the maintenance bypass switch?  Does that give you any LEDs?  Any output power to the load if you check physically?

First of all, thank you for your kind advice..

I am aware that the ups should show signs of life when the system enable switch is up and the input circuit breaker is closed however this is not happening (batts have been measured and tested ~ 125VDC).

There is no signal at all and no indication on the screen or intel modules. Not a single sound, or light/led even if we close the maintenance bypass switch. No output power at all.

Any ideas or directions would be appreciated.
