SYMMIM5 Intelligence module failure?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
We have a full SymmetraLX 16000 with the stacking cabinet with 9 batteries and then we have an extended cabinet with another 9 batteries. We had an old battery throw an overheated battery error(software doesn't not tell you which one it is so we had to feel for it). It was a very old battery along with 5 others. So I pulled the other 5 out to prevent any future issues. Last night I got the following error:

Severe - UPS: Redundant Intelligence Module failure.

I logged in to the GUI and I don't see anything wrong. I then looked at the panel at the unit and looked under diag and then Intelligence module and they say that they are ok. I can't find any documentation about testing the intelligence modules. I notice that the top intelligence module only has the middle led and last led blinking and the bottom one has the first, middle and last led blinking. Any info would be appreciated. We don't have a support contract anymore so I can't call in.

also, you don't need a contract on a symmetra LX 16000 to be able to call in and ask questions to get some help - they can at least confirm the failure for you and if under parts warranty, replace, or confirm what you should replace if out of warranty.

Most likely the intelligence module is on it's way out and is failing on and off. I would recommend you call tech support at 1-800-800-4272 and they can take care of this for you.
