I know this is probably an ignorant question - but I'm hoping I haven't made a mistake. If I've gotten something almost identical to this - http://goo.gl/UPDUv - how can I convert it down to 120v normal 15 amp plugs?

Although the above recommendation may work, the best option would be to get a PDU since this unit is already outputting 120v(although i don't know that using a step down would harm anything). Which outlet type is on there now? It's hard to tell from the picture and the colors on the outlets don't match up to what i see on our website. My guess is that they are L5-20's and and L14-30's. If so, the AP9564 may be a good option. Check the link below for our PDU selector.

[AP9626|http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=AP9626] or [SYTF2|http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SYTF2]. If you're buying used, the discontinued SYTF2 is probably less expensive.
One note of caution - on a 4KVA Symmetra RM with no load attached, simply plugging in a SYTF2 with no load attached will cause a 9% load reading on the Symmetra. This will run up your electric bill for no good reason. So you'll want to run the system with a large enough load that inefficiencies in the transformer are a small part of the power consumption. I wish APC offered a 120/208 or 120/240 split option on these Symmetras, like they did on the Matrix units.
If buying a SYTF2 used (I don't know about the AP9626), make sure it is well packed by the shipper. The guts of the unit is a giant toroid transformer held in place with some tiny screws and a clamp. I've had a number break free in shipping.
