I have a number of these cards that work fine in a system but won't communicate over the DB9 Computer Interface port. I've set comms to 2400 baud, 8 data bit, no parity and no flow control. It used to work for me some years ago. Any magic? Perhaps that little jumper labeled J6? SYMIM rev lock? MIM is SYMIM2 FW: 112.

Hi Ken,
Are you using the cable provided with the unit--part number 940-0024? If you are trying to communicate with the Symmetra itself make sure the network card is pulled out--otherwise you will make a serial connection to the NMC.
