Hi everybody,
I have a question about the wiring between the MPB and the UPS.
I plugged the UPS control wire from the MBP (Pin 1 and Pin 2) to the J106 plug between Pin 5 (Q3 active) and Pin 6 (Q3 active return).
Is that right?
I just need to declare to the UPS that there's a MBP ("MPB Board On" on the UPS)
Thanks a lot

Hi Sam,
I've installed the MBP a couple of times.
Connect MBP X010 pin 1 & 2 to UPS J106 pin 5 & 6 respectively. Pin 1 & 2 is normally closed (shorted) when Q3 is in off position.
The UPS will assume MBP is present as long as pin 5 & 6 (J106) are closed (shorted). If you remove J106 terminal block UPS LCD will show:
UPS: The external Switch Gear Q003 has closed. and of course UPS will go into Maintenance Bypass.
Rgds, CHEE
