My UPS gives me the error as indicated in the picture when I attempt to start it up.
A brief background. The unit is 5 years old and had not been used for some time (6 months). The first attempt to restart it failed and the fault was with the battery racks being below 92V. We bought and replaced the batteries and the racks were above 100V and the unit powered on but immediately registered that error. I've failed to find a fix for it so far. If anybody can assist I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your input. If you have an idea of what components I need to replace that'd be excellent. I really don't want to throw away the unit.

Hi Brian -
If these are indeed new batteries and known good, this would indicate a hardware fault of the UPS. You can try doing a "brain dead" to see if it clears the fault. To do this you would turn off the UPS and disconnect input power. Then disconnect all batteries internal and external. You can then reconnect batteries and input power and attempt to power the UPS back up. If this does not clear the issue the UPS likely needs to be replaced.

Brian,
That is a specific and common Inverter Fault code. On the web people list it as 2-3 Red X failure. Its a Battery Capacitor Soft Start Fault usually caused when you drain batteries too low and the unit tries to ramp the charge up on dead batteries. A few parts on the battery charging portion of the main board are bad and can be replaced for a fraction of a new unit.
So dont throw it away, its a great unit.
