Hello,
I am wondering of the SUM3000RMXL2U is susceptible to dropping the load during a self-test, like a SmartUps beginning with SU?
I am guessing since it's not a SUA, it is possible, but would like to confirm.
Thanks,
Jeff

You can refer the below mentioned document to check the internal connections of the UXBP48 External battery pack

It shouldn't. It's a newer generation than the SU family. The M in the part # stands for modular, since you can replace the power module (and battery of course) without replacing the whole unit.

One more question, I realize APC will not answer this question, I am voiding all warranties, and taking my life in my own hands, and other standard disclaimers.
How is the SUM300RMXL2U external battery wired? I see two external battery pack plugs on the back. Is this one wired like some others, where the internal battery pack is wired to the rear, the second plug on the rear is wired to the UPS and there is a plug(s) which acts as a jumper between the two external plugs?
I would really like to use the UXBP48 we already have.
Thanks,
Jeff
