We have a new SUA3000XL that, when we powered it, it functions, but we didn't see any activity on the front panel LEDs. The front panel on/off/test buttons work. We initially swapped front panels with another unit and still no LEDs. Finally, we discovered that if we look very close at an angle, we can see very dim green on the battery charge LEDs and online LED.
Could the circuit card not be lined up with the LED windows on the plastic panel?
I didn't see an adjustment for LED brightness (either manual or through the network card software settings).

Hi,
There is no LED adjustment for the front panel of the unit.
Just to confirm, you swapped the LED panel on the unit after you saw the problem? The word "initially" is confusing in this context.
That is a very good thought on what is causing the problem, unfortunately I am not able to confirm that via a forum. If this is an issue that persists on a unit still under factory warranty, I would advise calling into customer support to further work on the issue.

Jordan, we swapped panels after we didn't think the LEDs were working. I was using "initially" to indicate what we did first to troubleshoot.
We haven't powered up the 2nd unit (from which we borrowed a front panel to try), so we don't know if it's front panel works OK. We'll try that and see, as it seems unlikely that 2 front panels would have the same issue.
Also, I'll can call customer support. I wanted to try the forum first to make sure I'm not overlooking something simple.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
No you are not overlooking something simple, I think you're doing a great step in swapping panels to pinpoint the issue in fact.
