I have a SUA1500RM2U that is not coming on. I replaced batteries in it, the fan is running, but when I push the button to turn on nothing. Is this unit bad? Should I RMA this unit. The serial # isAS0844221715. Thanks.

Connect any equipment on your UPS outlets and check you are getting any power from it.
If you are getting any power then check the front bezel connections of the UPS.

Unplug it from the wall, press & hold the Off button for about 5-6 seconds. Then press & hold the On/Test button for a few seconds - you should get 1 short beep followed by a longer beep. Let go during that 2nd longer beep and see what it does.

That's weird. If the fans are spinning, it sounds like the unit is functioning, but my guess is something on the front bezel might be hosed. You could try to take a look at the board & ribbon behind the front bezel, see if wiggling it has any effect on the LEDs or if it looks damaged. Sounds like it just isn't seeing the command to turn on.

Everything looks good, and still nothing. Just going to RMA it I guess.
