Hey everyone. I have an APC SU3000RMXL3U that is brand new. Never been used and i want to put it in place to just keep my backbone up and running in the even of a power outage.
The issue i know most of you will say right away is that the battery is probably bad and needs to be replaced. Already done and it's registering 24volt from the module so that part is good. Where i am having trouble is that plugged into the wall 120volts on a dedicated 30A outlet we are good. Took the cover off and have been checking around. With the breaker on we are getting voltage to the unit and with the battery plugged in we are getting voltage to the unit. But still not turning on. None of the lights will come on either on the front panel nor the Sensitivity or site fault wiring light.
What should i check next. I'm at a total loss.
Thanks for your help.

I apologize for the late response, but it is good to hear that it has been diagnosed already.

Good day hotmanali,
I would like to be sure on what you have posted above. You've said that with the breaker on and batteries are plugged in, voltage is present on the unit. Where are you getting these voltage readings? Is it on the UPS outlet itself or on the battery terminals?
Can you also tell us the first six characters of the units serial number i.e. AS1020, this would give us an idea how old the UPS is. What happen if you press the On/I/Test button? Do you hear a click or a beep?
Can you please try and to the following steps:
1. Unplug the UPS from the utility source.
2. Make sure that the battery terminals are properly connected.
3. Press and hold the test button, the UPS would normally produce a short and a long beep. As soon as you hear a long beep, release the button.
Let me know what would happen while you are doing the steps above.
