Good morning,
Thought I would reach out to you guys for a little assistance with an SU2200RM. This has been installed in a customers data center, just pulled from service and was in service for about 2 years. Plugged it up, no power, no fans, etc. Checked the rear power switch, front panel, removed the cover. The unit has (2) 30AMP fuses but they do not appear to be removable.
Any suggestions out there. We have a non-profit customer that needs a good APC unit and I was trying to be a Good Samaritan, unfortunately my efforts appear fruitless.
Thanks.

Yes, you could measure the DC voltage on the battery pack. They are most likely dead if its been sitting, especially if it was connected.

What was the reason why it was taken out of service? Was it working prior to being pulled out? Have you ever tried using a known good/brand new battery on this UPS? Our SmartUPS would not turn on with a very bad/weak battery in other words it is totally unrecognizable.
