Hi all,
Hope someone can provide some assistance.
we have a 3000 RM XL UPS, manufactured in 2008, which recently got a red LED on "No battery or battery needs replacement".
we have replaced the battery but the LED is still showing as red. We have installed the management card and it display the battery details but still says that the battery is faulty/needs replacement.
Can anyone help???
thanks, rb51

HI, the UPS needs to carry out a successful self test in order to clear the "Battery Fault" LED. You can either command it to do that through the management card (under the "Diagnostics" menu), or, push and hold the power button (the large one labeled "1 / Test" ) for a few seconds until it initiates the self test manually.
