SU2000 manual and which cable for powerchute?
I just changed the batteries on my old SU2000 UPS and have my runtime back (I'm getting 1.5 hours out of it before it starts the low battery beeping)... It's running my network rack and 2 machine plus a few NAS devices.
This is one of those older, stacked UPS's where the battery pack is a seperate unit. Heck, the sticker on the back of the control unit literally has "SMART-UPS 2000" for the model # on the UPS pack (Battery pack has "SMART-UPS 2000 (BP)". I've had these for years (last battery change was in 2007) but I have managed to lose my manuals. Is there an archive somewhere that has the manual for this UPS? I haven't been able to find it on APC.com.
I'm trying to figure out which cable I need for these so I can use powerchute or possibly the app from http://www.apcupsd.com/. The 1.5 hours of run time is good but just this year alone we have lost power 4 times for more than 4 hours. I do have a generator and the UPS' is fine with the power but I need to try to get the machines to shut down safely when power is out for a while and there is no one to start the generator
