We've got a strange issue with AVR that failed and then recovered.
AVR failure appeared without any reason. We tried to reset interface and power module with CLI and web interface for two days, but it had no effect and I shut it down via CLI.
Next morning I powered up the device via power button and it started successfully. I even did not attempt to replug power cables.
Local service engeneers had no idea on that, but advised to bring it for diagnostics on next failure.
Any ideas about the reason for self-healing? Should I expect further issues with AVR? UPS is 3,5 y.o. and had no issues before.

Hi Max,
Doing the steps you performed is the troubleshooting that we suggest to clear this fault. There are times, like a lot of electrical equipment, that the unit needs a power cycle and its capacitors discharged. It is a good sign that the unit came online and passed a self test. I will say that relay faults in particular are known to clear after resetting the unit and then reappear a couple days or weeks later. So with that in mind I would definitely keep an eye on it and start to plan to possibly replacing it. We do have a trade-ups program where you can get a 15-25% discount on a new unit and a prepaid shipping label for your old unit so we can recycle it for you.
