We have a number of APC smart UPS, most with AP9630 cards, one with a AP9640 card. The SU1400's + AP9630 do not display the battery install date. Is that due to a firmware issue? The SU1400's have version 70.11.D firmware. Is there a later version of the firmware that provides that info to the AP9630? I realize the firmware is not upgradeable, however, I can program 356-002C eproms with the latest firmware and swap out the 70.11.D chips.
Thanks.

Thanks for responding. The battery date *is* set via the serial interface on the SU1400's, and one can view them via the serial device. I was hoping to be able to view the battery dates via the AP9630 web interface for planning battery replacements. Oh well, I'll just use put the dates on stickers and apply them to the units. Thanks anyway.

The battery install date on the SU series is just an ASCII string retained in the eeprom on the board. If nothing has programmed the battery install date, it won't have one to report.
