Dear APC team,
We are facing the following problems in the brand new SRT10KXLI APC UPS.
1) While measuring the neutral to ground voltage: 188VAC, Neutral to phase voltage: 0 VAC, Ground to Phase voltage: 188VAC. So we touched the connected instrument got a heavy shock.
2) In this scenario, We seen the UPS output voltage on display is zero but while checking with use of multimeter on UPS we seen the above voltages.
please do the needful ASAP.
We will be waiting for your quick response.
Please give us some urgent feedback, how to protect us from the heavy shock in future.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I asked a few people and they think the issue my be with the wiring. Was the UPS wired per the installation manual?
Note: B1 is Bypass feed which requires Bypass Jumper to be removed if used in this configuration.
Note: Phase Jumper is removed when used in a 3 phase input configuration.
With no load connected, check polarity and measure the “input voltages” on the terminal block to see what you are getting. You said that you are getting a voltage of 188V between G & N and also 188V between L & G (we are presuming this is on the output sockets) but believe this would indicate the Live & Ground are reversed on the input.
