You’ll need to provide a lot more information as it relates to this question. Given you have provided absolutely no information about the hardware in place and where you’re stuck in the SNMP setup.
Regardless, in case you didn’t know the target device must have a NMC. Whether it be embedded or add on card installed in the Smart Slot.
If you don’t have a NMC - Stop! Go buy one and install it.
If you have an NMC what part of the SNMP setup are you stuck on? As this is a multi step process on the NMC and target network device.
You’ll need to decide and define SNMP v1, v2, v3 on the target device first. Some network devices may require you to define what inbound IP Address the SNMP request is coming from.
On the NMC enable SNMP v1 / v3 as required under Access. In the User Profile for v3 SNMP enter the same User Name, Auth Password, Privacy Password, Auth Protocol, Privacy Protocol.
Access Control: Select the profile you created from the drop down. Enter the target devices IP NMS Address / Host.
SNMP v1: This is the least secure method to communicate via SNMP. But is the easiest to setup so enable SNMP v1 on the NMC.
Define the IP Address from the target network device. The default community name is (public). You should at least change it to something unique and not obvious.
