SMX750C Fan
Hello,
I was taking a look at a couple of SMX750C's and noticed that the fan was not turning on one of them. I then looked at another and found the same thing. Initially I thought something was wrong, but since I've run into this twice, I'm wondering if the fan does not run all the time, but only kicks in when cooling needs to take place, and I wanted to verify that.

The fan will come on during the following conditions / reasons:
Upon first start up, loss of AC Mains, over heat condition, recharging. Depending upon what version of UPS firmware it will also come on during an update.
The system has two fan speeds even though it’s not a 4 wire PWM vs 2 wire fan.
NOTE: The system tracks if and when these conditions are present / happened in the Event / UPS logs.
Unplugging the fan will cause the system to declare a fan error. An internal over heat condition whether battery / system will declare an active fault / condition.
