SMT750IC Setting an IP address

Hi

Can anyone help, I dont seem to be able to set an ip on SMT750IC. I have the advanced menu set, but the ip menu doesnt show up for me and the web interface by smart connect shows the dhcp address but no ability to change it.

Can it be done on this model, and thereofre am i missing something

First you must change the IP mode to manual and then you need to set the IP, Subnet, Gateway and DNS.

Thanks for your reply. However when I use the menu system on the SMT750IC there is no selection to choose the UPS IP Address Mode as per the user manual. I have got the advanced menu selection.  Any ideas how to find that menu item, or why its not there?

Hi,

For SMT with firmware 4.1 or greater and SMTL model Smart-UPS 
From the LCD panel scroll to Configuration and using the down arrow scroll to Menu Type. Set the menu type to Advanced. Then using the down arrow scroll to UPS IP Address Settings and press enter. From the UPS IP Address Setting menu you can change from DHCP to Manual and enter a static IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS.

Yeah its the firmware is version 3.8 hence no menu option...now to find how to enable that!
