SMT3000RM i2U Firmware Upgrade - How?

I have a SMT3000RM that I want to upgrade, the APC site say to use the Firmware Upgrade Wizard v4.11 but all links to the file are showing as page cant be displayed, any ideas on where I can get the file and get the UPS updated?

Hi Mark,

I first want to make sure we are on the same page before moving forward, because there two different procedures you may be referring to. 

One procedure involves upgrading the firmware of the UPS itself.  We do not recommend you do this unless the unit is showing very specific issues, and even then we recommend you call in to tech support so we can walk you through the process.  If done incorrectly this process can 'brick' the unit and render it unusable.

The second procedure, would refer to upgrading the firmware of the network management card (NMC) installed in the UPS.  This is much simpler, and can done very easily by yourself.  If this is the situation and you are having trouble obtaining the files, I can provide them here, or you could call in to tech support and they can also find alternative ways to get you the needed files and provide an guidance or instructions you may need.

Ben, the NMC AP9630 that is in the UPS has been updated recently but its unable to see the UPS in which its now installed (the card had been used else where before) I am hoping that a upgrade of the UPS itself would enable the card to see it.

Thank you for the clarification.  For this issue I would recommend you call into our tech support line.  There are a few factors that would need to be checked, and if we do decide to move forward with a UPS firmware upgrade, it is best if one our representatives is on the phone with you to walk you through the process.
