I started a firmware upgrade from here and my SMT1500RM2U has a AP9630 installed (sumx v6.4.6). Disabled power output to the outlets, and started the upgrade with ID18. Let it sit for an hour and a half with "Firmware upgrade in progress". Nothing seemed to be happening and web interface lost communication with UPS. I power cycled the UPS and now nothing is displayed on the LCD screen....
Is there a recover method for the UPS?

Hi Chris,
Looks like firmware upgrade via network management card is failed, however we can try firmware upgrade via serial or USB using the wizard. This is the most reliable method and it is recommended method by APC to upgrade the UPS firmware. Here is the knowledge base article for the procedure to upgrade via USB or serial cable.
