SMT1000IC - Smartconnect

Hello, 

I hope someone can help me, I have a SMT1000IC at a remote site and its connected to the smartconnect.apc.com website as I can see the estimated run time when I log in.

But I cant make any changes as it warns me that SmartConnect is not enabled on the ups.

when I click learn more, it takes to me page saying:

 NOTE: To use this setting, your device must be on a Standard or Advanced plan and SmartConnect Access must be configured to ‘Enable with Crtl’ on your Smart-UPS. This can be manually enabled via the UPS device’s LCD screen. For more information, see your UPS operation manual.

I cant find any helpful information in the manual regarding this.

can someone let me know where I am going wrong ?

You will need to go into the configuration page via the LCD Menu on the UPS. Change the setting from Standard to Advanced view.

Once enabled within the configuration page of the LCD Menu you may enable Remote Smart Connect Control.

I have appended the full user manual for your specific model UPS which details this step on page: 15 ~ 18.
