Hello,

I wan't to ask you something..Is normal when i plugg this UPS into the AC outlet power, even if ups is turned off, still make a noise 2 seconds and display flash once?

Why display flsh even is the ups is turned off?

..is not fan, is a click noise and the lcd just flash once, blue light, nothing write..

Do you have the exact model and serial number of the unit to share? Is this a new unit, or a new issue on a older unit that has been in use?

Are there any other issues besides this light and beep upon plugging in the unit?

APC SMC1500i, is a new unit, 1 month old. Not any other issues

If the unit is energized (so it has AC or battery power present), but the output is off, you may hear the fan and see the display active. The UPS electronics/brain turns on even when the UPS output power is off.

Do you have any further details on the noise? Did the LCD screen just flash APC by Schneider Electric on it or similar?

What you described did not sound too strange to me based on my experience.
