The SC-1500 uses 4 cells (2 inverted over two). It seemed easy enough pulling it apart, but now that I have fresh batteries......I need some assistance with the wiring.

Factory replacement battery module is an RBC59... I googled that but there are no "exploded diagram". The batteries are wired as two series strings connected in parallel.
( on main batt connector) --- [ batt 1 ] --- [batt2] ---------- ( on main batt connector)

\- [ batt3] --- [batt4] ---/
