Hi guys.
When I try and login as root and goto the the https://:6547 address to manage the powerchute settings it says that the account is locked out.
I can still login to the console via the Vsphere Client and the :5480 port using root.
IS there some sort of command I can do to unlock the account ?
Thanks

Hi Jason,
The username/password for root is the credentials to login to the PCNS virtual appliance console via the vSphere client not the PCNS web interface. The PCNS web interface credentials are set up through the PCNS config wizard under the PowerChute Setup: Security section initially. If you restart the PCNS service through the console and try and login to the PCNS web interface again, it should bring up a Configuration Wizard for you to set it up if not already done so. To stop and start the service through the console the command is sudo /etc/init.d/PowerChute stop and sudo /etc/init.d/PowerChute start
If you wish to reset these credentials on the PCNS web interface, the KBase is FA159758. Please be aware that the username on the PCNS web interface and authentication phrase must be the same as the NMC for correct security settings.
Regards,
B
