Hello,
We have a network card on our UPS (well two actually) one of them is the NCM2 and we didn;t have the console cable for that so I held a pin in the reset box for around 30 seconds and it completely wiped the settings and I started from scratch.
I wish to do the same for the attached network card, but it's not working like the other device. Is there a way to completely reset this card without a console cable?
Thanks

Hi,
If it is an NMC1, there is no way to reset to defaults or "format" - format is why you did by holding down reset button for 20+ seconds - on an NMC2. The older NMC1's require console access to issue a reset to defaults unfortunately.
If you lost all credentials, you'd have to reset the password too, which does require console cable access, and then issue commands from within the interface to reset to defaults.
Is this card in a Symmetra PX or a 3ph UPS/PDU? I can't tell exactly what model it is by what I see in the picture for this type of NMC but I know it is a 3ph product. Not sure if you know what the part # is or what product it is in to be 100% certain. But if holding down the reset reset button didn't work and you didn't see a pulsing green status LED while holding, then it is likely the older card as you deduced.
