I just bought five strings of batteries for my Smmetra PX to replace several bad batteries. Is it ok to hot-swap the batteries or is it best to switch the system over to maintenance bypass or some other mode of operation during replacement? Also, the Symmetra was only two years old when the batteries started to fail. How long should they last? The room is kept between 70 and 74 degrees.
