Replacement selection for SUA1500R2X93
Hello all,
my customer avails a number of old/legacy consoles. Each console is hosting a Sparc SunBlade 2500 Red running Solaris 9 and a rackmounted 2U APC SMART-UPS (model SUA1500R2X93). The UPS is able to power-off/on the Sparc workstation via a serial RS232 DB9 cable. According to APC the UPS replacement model is the SMT1500RMX93, but i am not sure if the new one can communicate correctly via serial cable with the old Sparc SunBlade workstation (even with the usage of the AP9620 legacy communication port). Note that i cannot change anything on workstation side. Any ideas?
