Removing RIM on Symmetra LX reduce capacity to half with odd battery only

Hello,

Working on Symmetra SYAF16KXR9, I get a persistent RIM failure.

Removing this defective IM, the system return to normal but battery 02, 04, 06, 08, 10 and 12 are missing!

Is this normal or hiding an other defect?

It is normal - each IM monitors half of the batteries. Once you add a functioning RIM in, it will see all of the batteries.
