I'm in the market for a 2U rackmount UPS. It's for residential use so noise is a consideration. I'm looking at something like the SUA1500RM2U or SURTA1500RMXL. Do the fans in the rackmount models run continuously (i.e. all the time), or does the fan operate only under certain conditions, like the non-rackmount SmartUPS that I have?
Thanks!
