Hello guys,
kindly assist me on rectifying my Smart UPS issue. we replaced the batteries of recent and just minutes ago we discover the last "battery charge" l.e.d is blinking. But the "Online" l.e.d is ON signifying its on mains.
Could it be the batteries are not charging or very low/bad?

Hello Johnson,
I am assuming you have an older generation UPS (because our newer generation just came out this year). These units cannot communicate with the batteries and so cannot tell when new batteries are installed. You need to tell the UPS that it has new batteries, by changing the "battery replacement date". This can be done a variety of ways, either through the NMC, serial console, or through PCBE. After setting that I would run a self test.
Also, this is also assuming that you replaced the batteries with genuine APC RBCs and not just replacing the cells, as this can cause many issues.
Thanks,
Shanon
