I frequently see poweroutages here. I have some equipment on two RS 800s that shut down, flash overload and beep at least half of the outages. What could be the cause of this?
2 RS 800 - 540 Watts / 800 VA
Loads 1) 304 Watts / 434 VA
2) 456 Watts / 451 VA
Thanks.

are your calculations based on what the UPS is reporting via software or by you manually adding up the wattage values?
by those numbers, no they are not overloaded.
are you able to try the procedure below?
i suggest unplugging and turning off the equipment attached to at least one of the UPSs. keep the UPS turned on. then plug in a lamp or something similar to the battery back up outlets. unplug the UPS from the wall to similate a power outage? does the UPS still exhibit the same symptoms?
we can at least check the basic function of the UPS to see if its somehow related to the load on the UPS.
let me know if you have any questions.
