Hey everyone!
I just acquired a 3000RMXL for the office, however it is using a L5-30P plug, which we currently do not have a receptacle for. Would it be acceptable to just purchase a 30A to 15A converter (straight blade receptacle)? Suggestions? Else, call the electrician. =P
Thanks!

[check this link out|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=184]
it should answer your questions. as the article notes, you can but it will de-rate the UPS. you will need to make sure you dont overload it and trip the breaker.
