Dear all
We purchased SURT 8000VA UPS.
We want to know that UPS have the reverse current protection for preventing a failed UPS from discharging the battery.
If yes, we want to receive the relevant document such as the technical manual mentioned as the reverse current protection.
We also want to know that UPS have the earth fault protection or alarm.
Thank you

hello,
i am not familiar with ELB and NFB so I asked someone else and we definitely do not have an ELB in there so I guess it'd be NFB?

hello,
the units themselves do not have earth fault protection built in if I am understanding you correctly. they have an input circuit breaker which protects against over current.
they also have a site wiring fault alarm that can come up - noted here-> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&id=FA158817
there is no reverse current protection. the UPS has a manual and automatic bypass but it is electronic. also, in most situations, if the SURT goes to bypass, it will discharge over time.
