Hi.
I currently have a PC and Monitor individually connected to my 'APC Smart-UPS SMT2200I'. I'm thinking of getting a D-Link mydlink ™ Home Smart Plug so I can save on electricity consumption.
Question: Can I connect the PC + Monitor through a single D-Link socket to the UPS, using 1 CEE 7/4 (Female) - CEE 7/7 (Male) power cable as an intermediary? If not, any advice on an alternative way to do this? The setup would look something like this:
Thank you.
PR

Actually I'm looking to cut on the devices - PC, monitor, sound system, etc. - standby power consumption (program the smart plugs to do this during night time, for ex).

Hi,
Why not configured power save options on the PC? That way you do not have to purchase the plug. The PC will go to sleep and the monitor will power down based on your settings.
Power Options are found in the Control Panel.
