Question about Serial #'s on units
This may be a stupid question, but what does it mean when the serial number ( maybe) starts with a PQ or an ED? Is this the serial number on and does this designate something in particular? Thanks in advance.

the first letter is the place where the device was manufactured and the section letter denotes what product family/line the product is from. for example, ED means it was made in east providence, rhode island, USA (E for East Providence) and D, it is a single phase symmetra product.

P is for Philippines I believe and then Q means it was refurbished or re-worked in some way.
