Proper shutdown for transport without web interface

Hello, i am reading the manual.

The question is how to properly shutdown an Smart-UPS 1000 RM for transport. Is it through console? just holding power off button?

It doesn't have anything connected to it, it was on for testing purposes.

Hello Alejandro,

You can just press the power off button and then disconnect/remove the internal battery. Laws in the US and elsewhere require the batteries to not be connected when shipping using carriers. It will also ensure the battery does not discharge into the UPS while it is off.
