Hi everybody,
I am working for Doctors without borders and we have a ups SMT2200I
The UPS is connected to a heath block and a centrifuge machine with total need of 1770 watts
The UPS 2200I can support 1980 watts, so if i understand after 1 hour the ups alone will stop.
Unfortunatey the ups start well with 79% load and go down with 12% load.
After 3 minutes the UPS stop completely. The UPS is only one year old.
Can anybody help me as i am new on this forum.
Many thanks it is very urgent

Before running the batteries indicates 27 volts
After the shutdown of the ups the batteries indicate 25 volts
It must be then a software problem ???

Hi
When you say “the ups start well with 79% load and go down with 12% load.”, do you mean when you turn the equipment on that the load indicates 79% then settles down to 12%?
Is the mains AC input cable connected to the input but the UPS turns off after 3 minutes?

Many thanks for the quick information.
I think the 79% load is because of the starting phase of the motor of the centrifuge machine.
Now we are going to check when the UPS stop the battery voltage.
Any comments on this problem is welcomed

Before running this battery test, are the batteries 100% charged?
