Powerchute upgrade from 9.1.1

Last year we purchased a license for Powerchute Business 25-node Deluxe. The CD we received contains v9.1.1.

I want to upgrade to v9.5 but the Downloads on APC's website contain only the 5-node edition v9.5

If  I  download the 5-node edition and install it, can i then use my license for 25-node? Will this activate the support for 25 nodes?

Also, for some reason, the login no longer works on the Powerchute software, so I guess it is a COMPLETE REiNSTALL?

You can manage the UPS via the LCD panel and monitor it via the SmartConnect cloud. https://smartconnect.apc.com/welcome

If you require remote management you should purchase a network management card AP9630 or AP9631 and manage over the web.

Hi,

PowerChute Business Edition 9.1.1 25 node is not compatible with the 9.5 PowerChute Agent. The release note list

The following features are new to PowerChute Business Edition v9.5:

  • The Server and Console components have been removed.
  • A single, unified Agent is used to manage any UPS device less than 5kVA in the Smart-UPS range.
  • Multiple Agents can now be managed via SNMP, removing the 5 or 25 node limit.

Yes. You will need to reinstall Powerchute 9.1.1 to recover from lost user name or password. With the release of PowerChute Business Edition Agent 9.5 we have included the ability to recover from lost user name or password via a .ini file. See Schneider Electric FAQ FA340982.

I have an SMT1500C  .....i'm using it to power a MItel phone switch.   I connected the UPS to the network and can Ping the address but How do I manage it since there is not PowerChute software on the Mitel Phone switch?  or is this even possible?
