I have an APC UPC from the Smart series, it's a DLA1500L model and I'm on Windows 10 x64, which software should I use?

The agent uses a web interface. I believe there's a start menu item to launch it, or you can browse to https://127.0.0.1:6547.

Hi,
You should install PowerChute Business Edition. It can be downloaded PowerChute Business Edition from this link https://schneider-electric.app.box.com/files/0/f/14900863794/1/f_114186364816
When the installer is run PowerChute Business Edition 9.0.4 will be installed since your UPS is a DLA model.

Hi,
The link https://schneider-electric.box.com/s/xkl8aedixgziph5edxx57xl9o7k1jvr4 is set up so that anyone can access the file. You do not need a user name or password.
It is based on the communications protocol. The DLA utilizes UPSlink protocol so the install will add the 9.0.4 Agent. If the Smart-UPS was say a SMT model then that UPS utilizes Microlink protocol and therefore the 9.2.1 Agent would be installed.

Ok I'm dowloding the .exe file, I'll install and let you know. Notice that I have connected the UPS wia USB port to my Asus Sabertooth 990fx 2.0 motherboard (so I'm using AMD usb 2.0 port.)

I have successfully made the log in even if the program force me to insert an e-mail adress in order to add notification; without this passage I couldn't add the UPS to the device list. I would avoid add my e-mail , I don't need notifications.
Anyway even if the UPS is recognized from the software the RIsk assessment page isnt' working and show this screen constantly.

Hi,
That indicates there is a communication issue with the UPS. When you log into the PowerChute Agent web interface does it show lost communications with the UPS? To log into the web interface open a web browser and enter https://system IP address:6547. You need to replace system IP address with the IP address that has been assigned to the computer. An example is https://192.168.2.10:6547

Hi,
Since the Agent is communicating with the UPS there may be an issue with communication between the PowerChute Agent and Server. I recommend just using the web Agent and uninstall the PowerChute Server and Console. You can configure all the shutdown setting through the web Agent.

Well my PC has been formatted recently, so I do have a clean Windows 10 x64 install. That said I would like to have the programm up and running. Let me understand one thing.
The Agent is the part of the software that exstablish a comunication between the PC and the UPS so I suppose that it is sort of a driver (Am I wrong?). The Console and the Server are the software part with the user interface?
That said, I'm tryng to use the Console, the program starts and correctl finds the UPS as you can see in the image below:
Is there something that I can try to do in the configuration settings?
Anyway I hope that you will updated this software sooner or later because it seems kind of old to me.

The agent is the complete software for configuring the UPS, monitoring it, and safely shutting down the attached computer. So it's both a user interface and a driver.
The server and console are for if you have multiple UPSes, each attached to different computers, each computer running the agent. Rather than needing to log into each computer's agent individually, you can use the server to collect information from all the agents and then view the information in the console.

ok but if I enter inside the Agent installation folder, "C:\Program Files (x86)\APC\PowerChute Business Edition\agent" there isn't and .exe program with a user interface that I can execute. I need to run the console.exe inside C:\Program Files (x86)\APC\PowerChute Business Edition\console or am I wrong?
