Hi Guys, is it possible to shutdown the VM's using powerchute over a serial connection?

unfortunately, no. PowerChute Network Shutdown is the software we have that supports virtualization platforms and it does it over the network in conjunction with the network management card.
what you COULD look into is using PowerChute Network Shutdown on a different system and then scripting something to execute this maybe?
