I wonder if anyone can help with my query.
I have a SUM1500RMXLI2U which has the following kit plugged into it:
The majority of the time the TFT monitor is switched off. When it is off the load status shows as 0%. When it is on it shows 5% load in the load status.
The physical UPS load indicator shows no lit lights. I'm guessing each one represents approx 20% load?
I can see from my HP Management software that the HP server is using 35W.
I'm not sure of the other equipment.
Will the load status only show a value when 5% or more load is used? Or shoudl I be seeing a couple of percent with the other equipment being on?

Thanks Bill, that has confirmed my hunch that the load is not big enough until the monitor is switched on. I may plug both server PSU's into the UPS to see if that registers a change.

PowerChute will report the information the UPS provides. Below is a screenshot of PowerChute Business Edition Agent 9.2 attached to a SMX1500. The load displayed on the UPS LCD is 3% and PowerChute is displaying 3.1%

With a SUA Smart-UPS with that light of a load the UPS may not report it accurately. I ran a few tests with PowerChute Agent 9.0.3 and APCUPSD attached to SUA1500. Unless I put a 45 watt load or greater on the UPS both of the applications reported zero load.
