Hello
I have a SRT3000xli with an ap9631 management card, which have an external temperature sensor. In powerchute I see that there is an event called "Temperature Probe 1 Out Of Range". I would like to know if this event is triggered when sensor reaches "maximum" or "high" "Temperature Thresholds" that are configured in the management card settings.
Thanks
Fabio

Hi,
The event will be triggered when High, Maximum, Low, or Minimum are out of range if set to alarm within the NMC. it will only be triggered once if for example the High temperature is out of range and then the Maximum goes out of range. The event will trigger for the High temperature violate first and not the following Maximum violation.
Note: The High temperature threshold must be lower than the Maximum temperature threshold set on the NMC. The Low temperature threshold must be greater than the Minimum.

Thank you for your reply.
So, if I set 25°C for high and 30°C for maximum, and the current temperature is 26°C powerchute will shutdown a client if I enable "Temperature Probe 1 Out Of Range" event, isn't it?
Thanks
Fabio
