Hello everyone,
we noticed that our Powerchute Network Shutdown 4.1 Appliance is running out of disk space. Well currently the available disk space is 0.
The system is running on VMWare ESXi 6 for about 2 months now. We installed Powerchute by following the installation guides. Everything works fine, until we noticed, that the free disk space of the vm is 0.
Has anyone an idea what could be wrong? I don't think that the machine is supposed to do this.
Could it be log files? Do we need to configure rotating logs anywhere?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi,
There are 2 logs generated by PowerChute. They both reside in /opt/APC/PowerChute/group1. Check the size of EventLog.txt and error.log. The error log can get quite large if someone switches PowerChute to debug mode and leave it that way. Knowledge Base document FA230514 explains how to switch PowerChute to debug mode.

That was it. Debug mode off and cleared the logs.
Thank you very much!
